The Alamo Music & Wine Festival brings some of California’s best wineries together to sample alongside lively local music. All the funds that are raised during the event go towards high school music programs.
 
The Alamo Tree Lighting in downtown Alamo celebrates the holidays by lighting up a fantastic tree. Plus, the event has fun festivities and photos with Santa for the children before they light the tree for the first time of the season.

A popular event a drive away from Alamo is the Pacific Fine Arts Festival, held in Palo Alto. This festival brings hundreds of artists to sell and display their works of art. Among these are paintings, woodwork, photography, sculptures, clothing, jewelry, and more. Such an amazing and abundant selection of art presented in a beautiful climate has made this festival one of the top 200 best outdoor festivals in the country.

Anyone who likes a refreshing beer in the fall will love the event Concord Oktoberfest, which is only a short drive north of Alamo. Local tap houses celebrate the holiday by offering packages that are sponsored by local and craft breweries. These packages include a variety of beers, merchandise, and food that can be enjoyed at the tap house or at home.
